An Oxylent Day At Machu Picchu

An Oxylent Day At Machu Picchu

In the Andean mountains of Peru is a region known as Machu Picchu. Thousands visit Machu Picchu each year.  Starting their journey near the town of Ollantaytambo in the Urubamba Valley, they walk up through the Andes mountains  to the breathtaking, isolated, abandoned 16th century city.  Our Jan McIntire visited the ruins of Machu Picchu which is at an altitude of 7972 feet.  Although she did not walk the week long Inca trail up to the ruins she still needed to keep her energy and stamina during the trip.

The altitude and physical exertion was made much easier due to her religious use of Oxylent and Maca.   Jan says of the event “While others experienced various illnesses and fatigue from the altitude,  I remained healthy and active.  Such a wonderful adventure!”

For fun…check out National Geographic’s travel page of Machu Picchu and even test your Machu Picchu knowledge!
